Arabesque Pottery

Clay is my passion; decoration is my language. For 35 years.

In 1994 I graduated with my Masters of Fine Art in Ceramic Art from the University of Washington in Seattle, having done my undergraduate at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design (1992). Originally from Ontario, I decided to settle in Alberta. There I began my business, Arabesque Pottery, a line of ornately decorated pottery.

Relocating from Calgary back to Ontario in 2008, I purchased my dream building in Williamsburg, with a storefront studio down and living up. My pottery business had grown to include a line of garden signs, sculptures and a new line of porcelain pottery decorated with underglaze transfers.

During the recent pandemic I successfully transitioned from selling almost exclusively at art shows to online sales, farmers’ markets, and my storefront. The Originals Christmas Craft Show is my one and only art show for 2024 and I am looking forward to it.
